About the Role

• Develop and maintain comprehensive content, platform and engagement strategies for paid and organic social to increase community size, visibility, engagement and drive traffic
• Plan, manage and execute strategic content and social marketing campaigns, activations and/or partnerships
• Ensure timely production of social media assets, distribution and amplification
• Keep a leading edge on industry trends, predominant and emerging social and digital platforms. Relay the most important updates to key stakeholders (internal and external) quickly and effectively.
• Create and maintain the media content calendar, working with various managers to ensure they can share with our customers.
• Lead a holistic digital media strategy for core marketing programs to build a strategic message and media channel strategy to reach out to target audience(s).
• Partner with individual teams in each country to understand their unique needs and goals and build GTM social media calendars for assigned handles
• Work with individual teams to create programs and campaigns to grow membership and engagement within the social media and community space, leveraging the unique properties of the social marketing channel.
• Measure, report and optimize campaign effectiveness using a variety of social media analytics tools
• Collaborate and maintain close relationships with cross-functional teams to maximize reach efforts and ensure alignment across channels and teams.
• Support offline and online events with pre-, during-, and post-event social media.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.

  • 5+ years of experience in social media marketing, and digital marketing.

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.

  • Demonstrated experience with content creation, community/social media management and/or social strategy (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat, LinkedIn, bonus: TikTok, Twitch)

  • Eye for current and emerging media platforms and their usage from a consumer and business perspective

  • Experience with publishing and listening platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook Insights, YouTube Insights, Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Brandwatch, Influencer tools etc.

  • Exceptional at building and presenting concepts/programs and new business opportunities

  • Understand the business and able to connect business challenges and social strategy/tactics

  • Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills. Present to senior leadership regularly on social plans and results.

  • Think critically and creatively to solve problems and develop new and useful possibilities

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and creative ideas on tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Expertise in paid & owned (organic) media channels

Responsibilities

  • Strong writing skills, with a good grasp of tone and appropriate professional online communication in English.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, team-oriented, ability to work with a wide range of internal departments and regional teams.

  • Ability to think big and propose innovative strategies to maximize impact.
