About the Role

• advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
• knowledge of statistics, planning techniques and algorithms is a plus
• knowledge of ERP systems (SAP MM-PP is a plus)

Requirements

  • bachelor in management engineering, business, logistics, supply chain or equivalent Internal

  • experience in Plastic sector is highly appreciated

  • english written and spoken is required;

  • previous experience within Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Planning Departments nice to have

  • high resilience and persistence to deliver sustainable results

  • strong analytical and organizational skills

  • ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

  • manage and optimize all the planning processes both for raw materials and finished goods

  • liaise with Global Supply Chain Department on raw material plans to implement best solutions

  • coordinate all the inbound and outbound delivery processes and internal flows

  • monitor and coordination of the progress for freight and transportation management

  • manage production planning and guarantee alignment with Customer Service / Sales Department

  • manage what-if analysis and planning scenarios in order to optimize and improve production plans

  • monitor production progress and in case of issues evaluate change opportunities in coordination with Industrial Manager and production teams

  • monitor stock levels and inventories in order to balance customer needs and priorities

  • guarantee a high level of efficiency for what concern warehouse process in specific the closure of orders in order to maintain updated the cycle counts organization during the year

  • prepare both standard reports and ad-hoc analysis in order to support decisions, evaluate new scenarios and opportunities

  • periodically share with the Global Supply Chain, Country Manager, and Industrial Manager the main issues identified and propose possible corrective actions to be implemented

  • take part to the planning meetings and proactively suggest ways to improve efficiency and achieve always better results

  • track KPIs and report on supply chain’s performance

  • management of local suppliers for what concern the negotiation (Volumes, follow up) and their evaluation with QA support

  • close coordination with local R&D function in order to select suppliers and alternatives materials that generate savings and/or quality improvement

  • follow the guidelines driven by Global Supply Chain for what concern global contract
